Ketla IT Services is based in Nottingham, United Kingdom, and is the private computer company of veteran network manager and computer engineer Mats Emblad. Our aim is to provide our customers with professional, reliable, competent, and competitively priced services optimised for each individual client. Alhough we mainly operate inside the UK, we also have engineers available for short term projects in Switzerland, Sweden and Spain.
Why the name Ketla?
Ketla is a norse word and has several meanings, the first and most common being the Icelandic name of a typical, small Viking ship - somewhat like the Celtic cockleshell boat. They were known for being rugged, reliable in all weather, and virtually unsinkable - something which Ketla IT Services strives to be for its customers!
The second and more personal reason is that it is the name in several Nordic legends of a Wolf, and here again Ketla IT Services sees itself not as the menacing predator but the loyal friend and partner which intervenes only when needed or asked to. With this in mind Ketla IT Services will not bombard our customers with emails or phone calls - the customer knows we are there if they need us and know we will respond to their expectations rapidly, efficiently and sincerely.
